UPSC IAS Final Results 2015 Civil Services Toppers Merit List Declared


The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of the Civil Services Examination 2015 today on Tuesday at the official website of UPSC. There are 180 vacancies in IAS, 45 in IFS, 150 in IPS, 728 in Central Services Group ‘A’ and 61 in Group ‘B’ Services. This includes 46 vacancies for the physically handicapped.
The final merit list has been prepared based on the written examination held in December 2015 and interviews conducted in March-May 2016. A total of 1,078 candidates cleared the UPSC 2015 exam — 499 from the general category, 314 from the other backward classes, 176 from the scheduled castes and 89 from the scheduled tribes. The commission said it was maintaining a reserve list of 172 candidates.

UPSC IAS Civil Services Final Results 2015 :

Thousands of students appear in the prestigious civil services examination conducted annually by the UPSC to select officers for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) among others. The examination is conducted in three stages – preliminary, main and interview.
