UPTET Answer Key 2020 Released_ Check UPTET For Paper 1 & 2 held on 2nd Feb Morning & Afternoon Sessions

Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board successfully conducted the Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET) on 22nd December 2019 across various examination centers in Uttar Pradesh. A large number of aspirants applied and appeared for the TET examination.

How to use UPTET Answer Key 2020?

Candidates have to check the Paper I Paper II answers given by them and follow the marking scheme to check the result score. Below is the marking scheme for evaluating the response sheet:

Positive Marks: Each question has 1 mark in the question paper.

Below is the procedure for using the answer key for calculating the score marks:
  • Download the answer key from the official website.
  • Now, compare the answer key with the answers given while giving the exam.
  • Calculate total number of right answers.
  • Calculate total wrong answers.
  • Alot 1 mark for every right answer.
  • Zero(0) marks are given for every wrong answer.
  • Total the marks for the right answers.
  • The formula for total marks score is as follows.

Objecting UPTET Answer Key 2020

In case Candidates do not agree with the answers suggested in the answer key, they can object the answer key and suggest the right answer for the question. Candidate must have a proof to support the objection raised by him/her. To object the answer key the candidates need to fill an application form and pay the fee for submitting the objection.

A final answer key is released considering all the objections received by the board. The changes in the answer key is applicable to all the candidates equally. No candidates is individually informed about acceptance or rejection of their objection.

UPTET Cut-off 2020

The candidates are considered qualified only when they score marks more than or equal to the minimum cut-off marks. While preparing for the exam, the candidates must keep in mind that they have to score marks more than the cut-off marks and then prepare accordingly. Below is the minimum cut-off marks for paper-1 and paper-2 of the UPTET exam.

For General Category: 60% marks or 90 marks out of 150.
For SC, ST, OBC, PwD and dependents of martyrs: 55% or 82 marks out of 150 marks.
